SHIPPING ESTIMATES: DOMESTIC (SOUTH AFRICA) + INTERNATIONAL
Economy – Tube Shipping
Tube shipping is the more affordable choice, suited for smaller, single prints. Tubes protect the artwork during transit, but prints may develop temporary curl, minor scuffing, or surface marks if not handled carefully. I recommend taking the prints directly to a framer and not unrolling them at home. Tube shipping is intended as a more affordable shipping solutions for artworks that will be framed promptly—I cannot take responsibility for damage if prints and certificates are stored in tubes for extended periods of time or not stored properly.
Premium – Flatpack Shipping
For the highest level of protection, I recommend flatpack shipping. This is a premium method, suitable for larger prints, multiple pieces, or any artwork you intend to store before framing. Flatpack shipping keeps your prints completely flat, preventing bending or curling, and ensures your artwork arrives in pristine condition. While this method is more expensive due to larger parcel sizes, increased materials, and higher courier rates, it offers the best archival-friendly protection for fine art prints.
Paintings – Custom Crate Shipping
For oil paintings or other artworks that cannot be rolled, I use custom-built crates to ensure safe delivery. Crates are designed specifically for the size and weight of each painting, providing maximum protection during transit. This is a premium shipping option, and costs will be quoted individually based on the painting and your location.
Please Note: Shipping costs are quoted separately after your order is confirmed as the final cost depends on several factors, including:
- Print/painting size — Larger prints require bigger boxes and more protective materials.
- Number of paintings/prints — Multiple items may need a larger box or additional packaging.
- Destination — Domestic and international shipping rates vary by location and carrier.
These estimates include all packaging materials, protective handling, and shipping. Multiple prints will ship in the appropriately sized box, using the largest print as the shipping reference. We use premium archival materials to ensure every print, certificate, and accompanying item arrives in pristine condition, ready to frame or display.
We provide shipping quotes exactly as we receive them, without any markups. This ensures full transparency — you see the true cost of shipping. All shipping fees can be settled directly with the courier, giving you the choice of control over the transaction.
Local Pickup: Collection can be arranged in Cape Town City Center. Please indicate in the checkout notes if you’d like to collect your artwork instead of having it shipped. *packing & handling fees may apply
